You will primarily technically lead the delivery of large legacy transformation and modernization projects and programs using your experience in .NET and/or Java together with Avanade’s toolset. You will leverage cloud technologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization. Leveraging cloud technologies and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization. You will provide management and mentoring of technical consultants assigned to the project to deliver the migrated sources and data and the setup and configuration of the target environment. You will guide and mentor consultants in the investigation of defects reported by the client in the migrated applications or environment configuration and propose the best course of action for resolution.

Additional details

You will work closely with the AMT product R&D Migration team. In addition, you will assist the client to understand the migrated environment by providing training and knowledge transfer and prepare and present status reports to Delivery Leads and project executives and sponsors.

The role involves occasionally travelling onsite to clients, either to run Site Surveys to discover the make-up of the current legacy environment to be migrated, or to support key events during the delivery of the legacy migration/modernization project.
