With nearly a decade of tenure at Avanade, Rodrigo has firmly established himself as a client-centric and people-first leader. His unwavering commitment to strengthening Avanade’s position as the Microsoft technology leader has been evident throughout his career. In 2020, he assumed the role of Avanade’s Growth Markets Area President, where he made significant contributions to the business. Under his leadership, Avanade achieved an impressive 80% growth in both revenue and headcount. Additionally, Rodrigo’s exceptional work was recognized with 24 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, spanning all five Growth Markets regions.

 

Rodrigo, originally from Brazil and now based in the United States, enjoys running, boxing, collecting wine, and spending quality moments with family and friends.

As the Global Growth and Strategy lead, Paul is responsible for developing and driving the execution of the company’s business strategy. His role involves identifying and addressing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market - ultimately driving accelerated growth for our organization.

As the Global Growth and Strategy lead, Paul is responsible for developing and driving the execution of the company’s business strategy. His role involves identifying and addressing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market - ultimately driving accelerated growth for our organization.

 

Paul’s career with Avanade spans 15 years, during which time he’s held leadership roles at the region, area and global level. As the COO of the UK and Ireland Business, Paul was instrumental in driving growth, overseeing key acquisitions, and guiding the business through the challenges of COVID-19 and the period of hyper-growth that followed. In 2023, he assumed the position of Head of Growth and Strategy for Europe, whilst also taking on the global role of leading the delivery of Avanade’s enterprise transformation and operating model evolution. During this time, he studied strategy and Innovation at Said Business School, Oxford.

 

Paul, who is currently based in London, enjoys cycling, swimming and tennis and loves any opportunity to get into the great outdoors.

Fabio joined Avanade in 2013 and most recently spent four years as Brazil General Manager, leading our people, business and growth strategy in Brazil. Prior to joining Avanade, he held leadership roles at IBM and BRQ Digital Solutions. 

 

Fabio holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, an MBA from FGV, and two post-MBAs from Saint Paul Business School and Stanford University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, sailing, exercising, and spending time with his wife, two children and dog.

Jason has more than 20 years of experience leading sales, delivery and transformation initiatives across the technology industry, including CRM, SaaS, AI, digital marketing and data. He joined Avanade in 2010 and most recently served as the North American Avanade X Lead. Prior to his time at Avanade, he held positions at MicroStrategy, Microsoft and Ascentium. He also flew drones in the U.S. Army and completed deployments to Croatia and Bosnia.


Jason lives in Seattle and enjoys travelling, driving fast cars, eating good food, drinking wine and cocktails and spending time with his family and friends.

As Avanade’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Julia Jessen is responsible for leading the company’s global legal function. Besides being a leading voice in building our thought leadership and reputation in the market around topics like digital ethics, she transformed our legal department’s deal making approach to be client centric and value based, while facilitating growth with best-in-class business lawyering across Avanade.

As Avanade’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Julia Jessen is responsible for leading the company’s global legal function. Besides being a leading voice in building our thought leadership and reputation in the market around topics like digital ethics, she transformed our legal department’s deal making approach to be client centric and value based, while facilitating growth with best-in-class business lawyering across Avanade.


With a career that spans Germany, England and the United States, Julia has been designing and leading international legal teams for over two decades with a strong emphasis on innovation and simplification. Before joining Avanade as our General Counsel Europe in 2012, Julia was General Counsel EMEA at Sony Mobile Communications and an Associate General Counsel at Amazon. She started her career working at Intel, where she held several legal leadership roles, including supporting Intel’s global Software and Solutions Group.


Julia studied Law at the Ludwig Maximilian’s University in Munich and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from University College London. She joined the Munich bar association in 1999. In her free time, you will find Julia outdoors on long-distance hikes or hosting dinners for family and friends with delicious food and great conversations.

As Chief People Officer, Laura Lowe focuses on creating an employee experience that makes people feel inspired, confident and cared for at Avanade. She leads Avanade’s global human resources organisation and is responsible for the full scope of people programmes, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, leadership development and more. .

Prior to joining Avanade in 2018, Laura spent more than 20 years at IBM, where she most recently served as Global Executive HR Director for IBM’s Digital Strategy and iX business unit within Global Business Services. At Avanade, she previously served as Executive for North America HR, leading the end-to-end experience for more than 4,000 employees across the U.S. and Canada. She’s passionate about shaping employee experiences that drive innovation and collaboration, as well as meaningful business growth. 

 

Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in science education from North Carolina State University. She resides in Florida and enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, taking photos and exploring new areas along the coast. Laura is also proud to be a donor and fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides housing and assistance to families with critically ill children.

As Chief of Staff to the CEO, Zach Rodriguez serves as a trusted advisor to Avanade’s CEO and helps to lead the organization through strategic growth and change initiatives. In this role, he is also a member of the Executive Committee.

Zach’s tenure at Avanade spans six years, where he’s served as Chief of Staff to the Growth Office, helping to advance Avanade’s growth as the leading global innovator on Microsoft. Prior to his current role, Zach most recently served as Portfolio and Go-to-Market Strategy Lead, supporting and leading the execution of our five-year growth strategy.

 

Zach’s career spans leadership roles in politics, government and the private sector. He served as Chief of Staff to the U.S. Ambassador of Spain and served as founding director of the Obama for America Futuro Fund—the largest Latino fundraising effort in the history of presidential politics—and served in the White House working to identify candidates from the Latino and LGBTQ communities to fill political appointments across all government agencies.

 

Zach is an alumnus of the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a BA in Political Science.

As Chief Sales Officer, Michael Roughsedge is responsible for sales execution, strategy, programmes and governance for our global sales organisation and client account leadership programmes. Michael is an inclusive, people-first leader who builds teams that are skilled at expanding our market leadership and bring the best of Avanade to our clients, from the first conversation to every interaction that follows.

As Chief Sales Officer, Michael Roughsedge is responsible for sales execution, strategy, programmes and governance for our global sales organisation and client account leadership programmes. Michael is an inclusive, people-first leader who builds teams that are skilled at expanding our market leadership and bring the best of Avanade to our clients, from the first conversation to every interaction that follows.


Michael joined Avanade in 2019 as General Manager for the West Region in North America before stepping into a role as General Manager for the South Region in 2022. Prior to joining Avanade, he held leadership roles in sales and delivery at Adobe, HPE, Microsoft and Unisys. 


Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Vermont and resides in Snohomish, Washington with his wife and two sons. He is a car enthusiast, and in his free time, he enjoys cooking, travelling and playing golf.

Chief Marketing Officer Ruth Rowan is responsible for Avanade’s overall global marketing strategy, brand and corporate communications. She works closely with teams around the world to support our growth ambitions through building a differentiated brand, value proposition, client experience, demand generation, and engaging external and internal communications.

Ruth has 25 years of experience leading marketing teams across all parts of the technology industry, including cloud, SaaS, security, applications, services and telecommunications. She joined Avanade in February 2022 having previously held senior marketing roles for NTT, Dimension Data and British Telecommunications (BT).


Ruth holds a Master of Human Sciences degree from Oxford University and a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) diploma. She has lived on two continents and travelled extensively throughout her career, which has fostered her love of discovering new places, peoples and cultures. An outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running and walking with her rescue dog, Ruth brings her #growthmindset to her personal and professional life with a passion for continuous learning. During quarantine she took steps to become a certified sommelier.

Julian Tomison is the Delivery Engine Lead for Avanade and a member of the Executive Committee.

In his current role, Julian is responsible for creating exceptional delivery experiences for our clients around the world. He brings to this role a wealth of experience from his 15-year tenure at Avanade including leading the UK business, working with Accenture and the Accenture Microsoft Business Group (AMBG) and leading teams in delivery, building strong partnerships and alliances and advancing growth initiatives.

 

Prior to his recent appointment, Julian served as Avanade’s Partner, Ecosystem & Alliances Lead focusing on strengthening Avanade’s relationships with our strategic partners, including the Accenture Microsoft Business Group (AMBG) and Microsoft.

 

In this role, he led multi-year go-to-market (GTM) strategies with our partners including driving partner resale.  Julian has also served as Avanade’s Growth & Strategy Lead for both the Accenture Microsoft Business Group and Avanade in Europe and as General Manager for Avanade’s business in the UK.

 

Julian has a passion for developing leaders at all levels across the organization.   He is married and has two teenagers and when he can make time, he balances his work life with motorcycle touring and Crossfit.

Amy joined Avanade in 2019 as North America COO after more than 20 years at Accenture, where she started her career in consulting before holding a number of leadership roles in the Commercial Director organisation. There she developed a global, cohesive Operations team on three continents, as well as directing account strategy and planning.


Amy holds a bachelors degree in biochemistry and a Ph.D. in molecular biology. Although you will no longer find her in a laboratory, when she’s not working, you may catch her on the tennis court or enjoying a beautiful day at the beach.

Anna Di Silverio, president of Europe, is responsible for guiding strategy, business operations, talent development, sales and delivery across Europe. Anna has a deep commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce, supporting our collaborative partnership with Accenture and Microsoft, and providing our clients with innovative digital and cloud services, business solutions and design-led experiences within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Anna Di Silverio, president of Europe, is responsible for guiding strategy, business operations, talent development, sales and delivery across Europe. Anna has a deep commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce, supporting our collaborative partnership with Accenture and Microsoft, and providing our clients with innovative digital and cloud services, business solutions and design-led experiences within the Microsoft ecosystem.


Prior to her current role, Anna served as president of Growth Markets, where she was responsible for business operations in Australia, Brazil, Greater China, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Under her leadership, Growth Markets experienced consistent double-digit sales, revenue, and headcount growth, and regions in Growth Markets were recognised for gender equality and progressive workplace practices. Earlier she was Growth Markets’ chief operating officer, responsible for executing Avanade’s strategy and operational excellence across its regions in Asia Pacific and Brazil.


Anna joined Avanade in 2010 as general manager of Avanade Italy. She began her career as a networking architecture researcher and holds a degree in computer sciences from the University of Pisa. When she is not working, she enjoys horticulture, tennis and books on technology and gender gap issues.

As President, The Americas, Gord Mawhinney leads Avanade’s largest business unit, overseeing strategy, sales, delivery and operations across the Americas. Working closely with leadership teams in the United States, Canada and Brazil in support of our 5000 Americas employees, Gord ensures delivery of consistent, high-quality outcomes for Avanade's clients.

As President, The Americas, Gord Mawhinney leads Avanade’s largest business unit, overseeing strategy, sales, delivery and operations across the Americas. Working closely with leadership teams in the United States, Canada and Brazil in support of our 5000 Americas employees, Gord ensures delivery of consistent, high-quality outcomes for Avanade's clients.

 

Most recently, Gord served as Avanade’s General Manager for the Western and Southern U.S. regions, where he was responsible for strategy, operations, people and client relationships. He has also held global leadership roles in Avanade, including Global Business Applications Lead and Global Industry Lead.

 

With over 30 years in the High-Tech industry, Gord has held various roles across technical, consulting, sales, delivery, and management, including at IBM and as an entrepreneur leading award-winning software and services firms. Before joining Avanade, he was CEO of Long View Systems, a Hybrid Cloud company. Gord has also served on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards, including as President/Chairman of the Entrepreneurs' Organization and a global board member of the Young Presidents' Organization, and has been involved with private equity and VC firms focused on High Tech companies.

 

A lifelong learner, Gord has completed a Master’s degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University and earned his ICD-D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He lives in the Pacific NorthWest with his wife, who both lead an active outdoor lifestyle and focus much of their passion, time and energy on their 4 children.

As the Asia Pacific President, Bhavya oversees Avanade’s most diverse markets, including Australia, Japan, and Southeast Asia. His responsibilities encompass Avanade’s strategic direction, growth acceleration, market expansion, and fostering an inclusive culture that emphasizes diversity, continuous learning, and well-being.

With over two decades of experience in business management, technology, and consulting, as well as a track record of successfully establishing and scaling businesses in high-growth markets, Bhavya brings strategic insight and expertise to Avanade’s Executive leadership team. Most recently, he held the position of General Manager for Avanade’s Southeast Asia (SEA) region, where he shaped and evolved Avanade’s strategic direction, operations, brand, and talent in the region. Before joining Avanade in 2021, Bhavya held several executive leadership roles at Wipro and Reliance.

 

Bhavya is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, holding a master’s in business administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, and cooking. He resides in Singapore with his family.

Katie joined Avanade in 2007 and has held leadership positions across Sales, Clients, Solutions and Delivery. Throughout her tenure at Avanade, Katie has enjoyed helping her customers realize their strategic goals through the innovative and transformative use of the Microsoft ecosystem. 

 

Katie’s passion for technology began when studying for her Computer Information Systems degree at DeVry University.  While furthering her education at UCLA Anderson, she learned to apply her knowledge of technology to the advancement of business strategy.  Although her work has taken her around the world, Katie continues to return to her roots in Ohio, where she and her husband are raising their two daughters and two Doodles.

Carla Ramchand is Avanade’s chief executive for the Australia region – responsible for accelerating the growth of Avanade Australia’s business, sustaining Avanade’s market leadership on the Microsoft ecosystem, and leading its people across six locations nationwide: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. In this role, she also serves as a member of Avanade’s global Executive Committee, Global Leadership Council, and Asia Pacific Leadership Team.

With a wealth of experience leading hyper-growth businesses in the technology and telecommunications sectors in Australia and international markets, Carla leads with a people-first, client-focused approach to help Australian businesses achieve value and tangible results from the rapidly changing technology landscape.

 

Carla’s journey at Avanade began in 2015 as Australia Chief Operating Officer (COO). Throughout the course of her career, Carla played an instrumental role as Avanade’s Modern Workplace Solution Area Lead, Growth Markets COO, and most recently as Growth Markets Technology Business Group Lead. Prior to joining Avanade, Carla held key roles in the technology and telecommunications sector including Executive General Manager for Cybersecurity at IBM, as well as Head of Business Development and Head of Networks, Applications and Services Sales for Telstra's Enterprise and Government Business.

 

As an executive sponsor for inclusion and diversity, Carla is passionate about initiatives that attract, retain and cultivate senior female talent in technology. Recognised as an industry role model for breaking glass ceilings, Carla is a member of the distinguished Chief Executive Women – an Australian organisation comprising prominent and influential women leaders committed to achieving gender balance, removing the barriers to women’s progression, and ensuring equal opportunity for prosperity.

Emiliano Rantucci is the General Manager of Avanade ICEG & UAE and the Country Manager of Avanade Italy. In this role, he is also a member of Avanade’s Executive Committee. Emiliano joined Avanade in May 2018 as the Head of the Offering and Solutions Division. Today, he leads a team of over 2,000 professionals, guiding leading companies in the ICEG & UAE markets through their digital transformation journey.

Emiliano Rantucci is the General Manager of Avanade ICEG & UAE and the Country Manager of Avanade Italy. In this role, he is also a member of Avanade’s Executive Committee. Emiliano joined Avanade in May 2018 as the Head of the Offering and Solutions Division. Today, he leads a team of over 2,000 professionals, guiding leading companies in the ICEG & UAE markets through their digital transformation journey.

Before joining Avanade, Emiliano gained extensive experience in corporate management. In 2009, he led a startup in the System Integration field, which eventually merged into Capgemini through a series of acquisitions. At Capgemini, he developed a successful career, ultimately holding the position of Vice President in the Italian branch. Throughout his career, Emiliano has acquired extensive technical, strategic, and market knowledge. He has been active in various Italian companies, consolidating his expertise in consulting and System Integration related to the Microsoft ecosystem across different markets and industries.

Emiliano is deeply passionate about developing people and fostering a culture of growth and learning. He believes in the importance of employee well-being and has been recognized for his efforts in promoting a responsible business environment. His commitment to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for professional development is a cornerstone of his leadership approach.

Emiliano holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bergamo and a master’s in General Management of Small Medium Enterprises. He loves traveling and is passionate about ultra trail running and mountain biking.

As head of Avanade’s global Advanced Technology Center network, Sailaja Bhagavatula is responsible for all the Microsoft work we do across our global ATC delivery centres and centres of excellence, including studios that specialise in experience design and digital, cloud and agile technologies. The global ATC team includes 30,000+ technology experts, a backbone of Avanade’s delivery capability.

As head of Avanade’s global Advanced Technology Center network, Sailaja Bhagavatula is responsible for all the Microsoft work we do across our global ATC delivery centres and centres of excellence, including studios that specialise in experience design and digital, cloud and agile technologies. The global ATC team includes 30,000+ technology experts, a backbone of Avanade’s delivery capability.


Sailaja is a member of the Accenture Advanced Technology Centers in India (ATCI) leadership team and the Accenture Microsoft Business Group (AMBG) Executive Committee. She also serves as the Inclusion and Diversity programme sponsor for Accenture in India. She is passionate about the I&D agenda and has a deep commitment to creating inclusive and diverse workforces.


Before assuming her current role, Sailaja led the Intelligent Platform Services group at ATCI, with responsibility for driving growth, innovation, sales enablement and solution support, as well as overseeing project delivery and helping clients achieve enterprise-wide transformation. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts in business from the College of William and Mary. Based in Seattle, his lifelong passion for technology and its ability to make a positive difference in people’s lives began with hours spent exploring his family’s Apple IIC computer. Passionate about nurturing the next wave of talent and innovation, Aaron continues to mentor startup entrepreneurs and is a former President of the board of The Healing Center in Seattle. Florin previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Avanade, where he led the strategic development of a portfolio of solutions and services centred on emerging technologies and innovation. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and was recognised by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the Top 10 CTOs to Watch in 2023. Florin is passionate about people-first AI innovation and co-authored the book “We the People: Human Purpose in a Digital Age: A Guide to Digital Ethics for Individuals, Organizations and Robots of All Kinds.”


Florin holds a master’s degree in telecommunications engineering from Lund University. He is a world citizen, having lived and worked in 10 countries across three continents, and now calls the Pacific Northwest home. When he’s not busy raising young children, he loves running while listening to EDM.

Through the Accenture Microsoft Business Group, Adriano and his team bring global expertise and industry experience to help enterprises in the dynamic, high-potential UAE region realize business outcomes on the Microsoft platform.

Prior to his current role, Adriano was responsible for Avanade’s Industry and Client organizations in Brazil where he led a team of 10 Directors focused on delivering exceptional experiences and making a genuine human impact on clients. Under his leadership, Avanade Brazil achieved double-digit growth year-on-year and continues to be one of the fastest-growing regions globally in the company.

As one of Avanade’s first employees in Brazil, Adriano played a pivotal role in partnering with Accenture and Microsoft to establish Avanade’s business and market presence in the region. His first-hand experience in building a sustainable, multi-disciplinary business is no doubt invaluable to his current role in UAE. Before he joined Avanade, Adriano spent nearly 10 years in a variety of leadership roles at Microsoft Brazil.

Adriano is married with two sons and a daughter. His lovely granddaughter, Luanna, is the newest addition to his expanding family. Before joining Avanade, Emiliano gained extensive experience in corporate management. In 2009, he led a startup in the System Integration field, which eventually merged into Capgemini through a series of acquisitions. At Capgemini, he developed a successful career, ultimately holding the position of Vice President in the Italian branch. Throughout his career, Emiliano has acquired extensive technical, strategic, and market knowledge. He has been active in various Italian companies, consolidating his expertise in consulting and System Integration related to the Microsoft ecosystem across different markets and industries.

Emiliano is deeply passionate about developing people and fostering a culture of growth and learning. He believes in the importance of employee well-being and has been recognized for his efforts in promoting a responsible business environment. His commitment to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for professional development is a cornerstone of his leadership approach.

Emiliano holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bergamo and a master’s in General Management of Small Medium Enterprises. He loves traveling and is passionate about ultra trail running and mountain biking.
